When I got up this morning there was some Good News in my email inbox. For the first time ever, I had "cashed" in the SF disc golf weekly tournament. I'm so looking forward to my birthday!

I decided that for my birthday, I want to spend a quiet but memorable weekend with stefaroos. So I made reservations at a great B&B in Mendocino -- not the one I'd originally wanted, but the new place was having a 50% off sale, so I still win. Well, o.k. -- minimal sloth weekend.

Thanks to the near constant exertion and conveniently diminished appetite, I shed a handful of pounds at Burning Man again this year. I feel lighter and more fit than I have in years, and I aim to not just keep those gains but to improve on them.
